Why we do it

In this second edition, SWING for MX seeks to benefit a larger number of Mexican origin students and Mexican women entrepreneurs in Arizona.

Programs that you will be supporting:

IME BECAS: supports Mexican origin students to access a scholarship up to $2,000.00 USD to start or continue their studies at an Arizona university or community college. It is aimed for Mexicans who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership in their communities, and financial need to continue their studies.

Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Mexican Women Abroad:

The Consular Entrepreneurship Program for Mexican Women Abroad began in January 2021 as a pilot program at the Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix. The program’s objective is to provide entrepreneurial tools for Mexican women to either start a business or grow an existing business. Throughout the program, participants complete DreamBuilder, attend virtual conferences with experts on entrepreneurship and business topics and take part in a mentorship program. As a result of the three editions of the program in Arizona, almost 100 women have increased their knowledge and impelled their business significantly.
